Now that you have entered high school, it's time to start thinking about your interests and which career(s) may appeal to you. Here are a few tips to keep you on track for success in high school.

• Maintain good study habits to help keep your grades up.

• Check your HOPE GPA in February and in June to see if you are on track to be eligible for the HOPE Scholarship.

​

• Research your career interests and learn about what steps you should take to pursue your goals.

​

• Talk with your guidance counselors, teachers and family members about your plans to meet your education and career goals. This will help make sure you are taking the right courses.

​

• Be active in your community through volunteer work and participate in extracurricular activities.
